We’re on the hunt for a skilled Electrical Engineer who is eager to drive innovation and shape the future of modern farming.
In the role of Electrical Engineer, you’ll become indispensable within the production processes. Your task? Designing and developing electrical hardware and systems for agricultural machinery. This isn’t just about drawing up electrical schematics; it’s about designing and routing cable harnesses and selecting the perfect components and sensors. You’ll be in close collaboration with the bright minds behind the machine control systems, mechanical engineers, and suppliers. And when the situation calls for it, you’ll be there, providing on-site and remote work instructions.
Creating and maintaining electrical schematics and the electrical components database within the ECAD system;
Hand in hand with mechanical engineers, you’ll craft 3D cable harnesses, pinpointing the optimal routing paths and attachment points;
It’s up to you to ensure electrical component drawings, cable harness production drawings, and installation drawings are up to par with the required electrical specs;
Maintaining the Bill of Materials, along with options and variations for electrical systems, will be in your capable hands;
You’ll manage technical releases of assigned projects, making sure everything aligns with departmental standards and program milestones;
Problem-solving will become second nature as you investigate and rectify issues in both prototype and current products;
You won’t just be a bystander; you’ll actively support prototype construction and dive headfirst into research and development projects;
Production challenges, supply issues, or other production-related hurdles? You’re there, offering your technical prowess;
Your insights will be valuable in development and safety evaluations.
With a degree in electronics, mechatronics, mechanics, agricultural and/or automotive engineering, you’re more than qualified;
Your command of English? Excellent;
Practical knowledge of ECAD systems (like AutoCAD Electrical, Vesys, Capital, Zuken E3) and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);
You’re all about results, with a keen focus on customer satisfaction and quality, always adhering to the highest standards and procedures;
Your general understanding of agricultural machines and/or off-road vehicles’ design and operation is solid.
And you’re more than capable of:
Designing electrical schematics and cable harnesses for agricultural machines and/or off-road vehicles;
Utilizing your sharp analytical skills to separate the critical from the inconsequential;
Tackling and resolving issues in an objective, fact-based, professional manner.
