Based in Dordrecht, their Embedded Systems team focuses on developing cutting-edge ultrasonic and electromagnetic flowmeters, essential for industries such as hydrogen, petrochemical, LNG detection, water, wastewater, and food processing.

Functie

The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for designing, simulating, and testing converter electronics for flowmeters. As part of the Embedded Systems team, you will work closely with cross-functional project teams and report functionally to the project manager. The role involves:

Designing and developing electronic hardware components and systems.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to define project requirements and specifications.
Creating schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using CAD tools.
Conducting simulations and ensuring product performance and reliability.
Prototyping and testing hardware designs to validate functionality.
Transitioning designs into production with manufacturing partners.
Documenting and maintaining version control throughout the development process.

Functie-eisen

The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver with strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation. You bring the following qualifications:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in hardware design, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
Expertise in signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance.
A solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
Familiarity with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and embedded systems.
Experience in the product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes (preferred).
Strong communication skills in English.
